JOHNSON GOLF TECHNOLOGY
Johnson Golf Technology Inventions
John Johnson is the inventor of many products in the golf industry, all with one goal in mind and that is individual game improvement. After playing his college days at BYU with the likes of Eddie Heinen, Mike Weir, Ed Fryatt and Dean Wilson just to name a few, Johnson went on to play professionally himself. Holding Tour cards on the Australasian PGA Tour 95-96 and the Nationwide Tour 97-98, Johnson retired from competitive golf due to health reasons. Shortly there after, Johnson bought a driving range in Carpinteria, Ca and started the Johnson Golf Academy. There Johnson became a theorist on the game of golf in every aspect. Not only did Johnson teach but he also fit and built clubs for people and continued his inventive ways. In 2005 Johnson sold his driving range to focus more on his inventions and current interests.
